Dog is a True Friend that Leaves Paw Prints On Your Heart
When the quotes say “A Dog is Man’s Best Friend,” it really means something way more than just words. You know in the world there are still some people whom I would say aren’t “ant” dog lovers but aren’t fond of them either. Here, I’m simply gonna pen down as to why such a quote holds really true. What do people thing that they are just a four legged irritating animal, someone for whom you need to take care like a baby who never grows up and doesn’t ever speak, right?
Honestly dogs do speak. But only to those who care to listen. And you know after having a dog for almost a decade now, you know him. You know the meaning if his snuffs and grunts and barks. Every twitch of the ear is a question or statement, every wag of his tail is an exclamation now. People find it amusing, isn’t it? But having a dog in the house, never lets you be sad or frown. You always have a reason to smile. One thing I have understood when I people talk about angels and miracles, every angel doesn’t come with a good white dress and a wand, some choose fur instead of wings.
Sometimes I’m amused how intelligent and understanding a dog can be. My dog knows the time I come back from college (and is waiting at the gate to receive me), he knows when I’m free and done with dinner (he wags his tail telling me to play with him), he knows when dad is angry at him (he would bow and go and try and make it upto him), he knows when mom goes for a bath (he would sit outside the washroom waiting for her). All these things honestly count as his sixth sense. He knows it all, I don’t know how, but yes he does.
And when you own a dog for such a long time, he automatically becomes a member of your family. Everyone will come into the house looking for him, will expect him to dance and greet them. They eventually become everyone’s favourite. Every once in a while the dog enters your life, he changes everything.
The best part about god’s creation is the dogs eyes. They convey so much more than just silence. I never believed in eye reading, till I met my dog. The carefree and unconditional love he shows is unmatchable. The feeling of contentment you get when you see his eyes full of happiness and joy for you makes you love him even more. And I believe he is the only person who can love me so unconditionally without any expectations.
Today when I see the world at large, there are people saving the animals from cruelty and the other half saving them. Guys, trust me, they’re animals. We get to see on news, several puppies being burnt alive with crackers or being thrown from the rooftop for fame. Is that what our society calls for? Just because of the fact that they can’t speak doesn’t give us the privilege to go inhuman. In fact I have reached a point where I would love to volunteer and help for these poor souls rather than the inhuman people torturing and take other living creatures life for fun.
“What a beautiful place would it become to live in, if people had hearts like that of a dog.”
You know I read somewhere, “for you he is just a part of your life, but for him, you are his only life.” My heart melted when I read these lines. It makes me go back to the time when you are hanging out with your friends or chilling at a good family dinner, and when you return the joy your dog has on his face is so cheerful. Whenever you’re busy partying, he’s still waiting at the door, unable to sleep, waiting for you to return so that he too can have a mini celebration in his heart to his family back.
And in a world where trust is a mere five letter word. The true definition seeks to be completed by a dog. Because it his him who teaches you what true loyalty is. They motivate us to play, be affectionate, seek adventure and be loyal.
“Those who teach most about humanity aren’t always humans.”
